Florida Sun

Take me back to the Sunshine State 🌞 in March I had the great opportunity to travel to Florida for work and decided it would be great to start the weekend early visiting some Disney and Universal parks with my boyfriend. Naturally, I put him to good use and forced him to get my pictures for this post 🤗😚

I scored this super soft and flowy maxi skirt + bandeau top set from Hollister earlier that month and couldn't wait to wear it in Florida. It was perfect for the Florida heat and humidity.

I'm 5'6" wearing the XS skirt and top - in case you were wondering if it would be long enough for you! I feel like it could have been a tad bit longer but the length was still do-able.

I found the cutest Etsy shop for simple, dainty jewelry this month, too. Love this April birthstone necklace from Lolabean. I wore it literally all weekend long. (I'm wearing the shortest chain length here).

Here are a few other pictures from our trip!

Very disappointed in my tastebuds for not liking butter beer.

We spent Friday at Disney's Hollywood studios and Saturday at Universal's Island of Adventure. I've been to both parks many times but it was so fun seeing Adam's reaction to everything. We definitely wish we spent a couple more days just relaxing since it was go go go all weekend but we still had a great time none the less.

We stayed at the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort which I absolutely loved. I made reservations with my AAA card so was able to get a really great deal, especially for spring break. The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful, the decor was so modern and clean and the pool + view was so relaxing to sit outside on the balcony and listen to the guitarists.

Adam is one of the funniest people I've ever met and is always go with the flow so it was great to spend time spontaneously planning our dinners, spending our first night eating Chili's and watching the game in our hotel room and complaining about how insanely expensive yet delicious our breakfast was every morning. Can't wait for our next trip, wherever it may be!

Cheers to the weekend! St. Patrick's Day outfit

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I'm proud to carry Irish blood from my beautiful Grandma Sally. Cheers to the weekend!

In today's post, I'm wearing this super detailed and flowy top from Altar'd State. The intricate design and lightweight fabric make this perfect for spring. The tank top is pretty long so I can't image wearing it with shorts in the summertime but right now it's perfect with some leggings or jeans, boots and a cardigan or open knit sweater.

Thanks Alex for my beautiful blog pictures!

In today's post I also wanted to sneak in some favorite pictures of my Grandma Sally. I get my curly hair and freckles from my dad's side of the family so thought it was only appropriate to wish her a happy St. Patrick's Day in heaven! My grandma was always sending us St. Paddy's day cards, jewelry, pins, etc. and I am forever grateful that she reminded us who we are and where our ancestors have been.

Love love love these white flowy tanks for spring. Altar'd State is definitely one of my new favorite stores. The one I went to was in Oakbrook, IL and they had such a huge selection! Their dressing rooms were to die for as well - everything was shabby chic inspired with lemons, pretty lights and gorgeous upholstery.

Cranberry Wine

Today's look is a bit more dark and fall-appropriate but you know what, you can never have too many black tops in your wardrobe. In today's post I'm sharing this super comfy black body suit paired with my favorite cranberry colored jeggings from American Eagle.

I love that sign above me, hahaha!

I have been obsessed with American Eagle's jeggings for years. They are so form fitting, so flattering and so so comfy. I basically never wear real jeans anymore, ha! They have so many colors but thought this cranberry color with the black was a perfect night time look.

Ruffle Sleeves for Spring

Happy (almost) spring! In today's post I'm sharing this super delicate and pretty ruffle top from H&M. So many bloggers are sharing their take on the ruffle trend, but the prices are usually ridiculous. Here's a top for less than $40 that's super comfy and perfect for transitioning to springtime.

To finish the look I'm wearing my favorite tassel booties, a matching cream bag from Kate Spade and some Rose gold halo studs.
